A Note From the Artist

I struggled with this piece for a long time. Sometimes when I get stuck, I like to scroll through the Library of Congress’ public domain image set. I ended up finding this illustration from the mid-1800s (Victorian era) of a ghost and a dog. The book was about ghost identification, or something. I redrew the illustration in Procreate and got hooked on the idea that it represented this unchecked abuse of power. For that reason, I found it fitting.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. No fabric softeners. Hang dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
